Task Lists are designed to help you drive consistency and accountability across your team. But creating great Task Lists is only part of the job—knowing how to track them is what makes them truly effective. Opus gives you quick, detailed insight into:

  • What’s been completed (and what hasn’t)

  • How well it was done

  • Who completed it

  • How long it took

With reporting available both in the Opus Training app and dashboard—and a Daily Digest email sent to your inbox every morning—staying informed is easier than ever.

Table of Contents:

Where to View Task List Reporting

In the Opus Dashboard

  1. Log in to the Opus Dashboard on your desktop.

  2. Select the Task List you want to view reporting for. You can find this under the Manage tab.

  3. Once you're on the Task List's main page, click into the Reporting tab at the top of the screen.

  4. In the Reporting tab, you’ll find three key reporting views:

    • All Submissions

See a complete list of every time this Task List has been submitted. You'll be able to view who submitted it, when it was completed, the completion rate, and any flagged issues. This view is helpful for tracking individual compliance and task quality.

    • Schedule Completion

This view shows you how well the Task List is being completed within its scheduled windows. You’ll be able to quickly identify locations that are missing deadlines or completing tasks late.

    • Summary

Get an overview of trends across all submissions of the Task List. See how frequently each step is flagged, the average answers to questions, and how many responses each step receives—perfect for spotting areas that may need coaching or clarification.

You can also access more detailed reporting by clicking Open in Completion Grid in the Reporting tab of any Task List. This will take you to the Report Builder, where you can further customize your report.

In the Opus Training App

To view Task List reporting in the Opus Training app, find the Task List in your Library > select Submissions.

Anyone with access to Task Lists can see:

  • The time and date a Task List was submitted

  • Who submitted it and for which location

  • Individual answers for each step by clicking into a specific submission

If a Task List has already been completed by someone on the team, their submission will be visible—helping others avoid duplicate entries.

Types of Task List Reporting Available

  • All Submissions

View every completed Task List, who submitted it, the completion rate, and any flagged issues. You can also export all submission data.

  • Schedule Completion

See which Task Lists were completed within their scheduled time windows. This is especially useful for monitoring recurring tasks. You can also export all submission data.

  • Summary

Identify trends across tasks—like average answers, how often steps were flagged, and how many responses each step received. Great for spotting patterns or training opportunities.

  • Task List All Submissions
Track all submissions across locations here, and use filters to drill down.

  • Task List Completion Grid

A pre-built reporting dashboard that provides a detailed grid view of Task List completion. Here, you can view reporting for multiple Task Lists.

    • The Task List Completion Grid can be found here, or by going to the Reporting page on the main navigation.

    • You can filter by time range, location, and Task List, and download the data as a CSV for more details.

💡 When multiple Task Lists are selected in the Completion Grid report, you will see an average of completion counts or schedule completion.

Collaborative Task List Reporting

When a Task List is completed by multiple people, the submission reporting shows who worked on it and which steps each user completed.

  1. Open the Task List
In the dashboard, open the Task List you want to review and select the Reporting tab.

  2. View All Submissions
In the All Submissions report, click into a specific submission to see the full details.

  3. Review contributors
At the top of the submission, you’ll see the name of the user who submitted the Task List. Directly below that, you’ll see the names of any additional users who contributed.

  4. See step-level activity
If multiple people contributed, each step will display the contributing user’s initials next to the timestamp of the submission. Hover over the timestamp to see the contributor’s full name.
If your Task List is organized into sections, each section header will show the initials of all users who contributed to steps within that section.

This makes it easy to understand not just that a Task List was completed, but exactly who contributed to each part along the way.

💡 Collaborative Task List reporting in the Opus Training app
Users with access to a Task List can see which team members contributed to a submission directly in the app. This view shows contributors at the section level only. To see step-level details and full contributor information, review the submission in the dashboard.

Daily Digest Email

Stay on top of task completion—without logging in. Each morning at 6:30 AM (ET), Opus sends a Daily Digest email with a summary of all Task List and Audit submissions from the previous day.

  • Admins receive a summary of all locations they have access to.

  • Managers and Trainees receive summaries for only their assigned location(s).

How to Receive Daily Digest Emails

To enable daily summary emails:

  1. Go to Task Lists > Alerts in your Opus Dashboard.

  2. Select Manage Daily Summary Emails.

  3. Choose your recipients and confirm preferences.

Once enabled, emails will be sent automatically every morning—no further action needed.

Location Access and Daily Digest Reporting

The Daily Digest displays submissions only for locations that users have permission to access. To ensure proper visibility, verify that your team members have appropriate location access permissions. Here's how it works:

  • A General Manager will only see submissions from the location they have been assigned.

  • A Regional Manager with access to multiple locations will see submissions from their region.

  • An Admin will see all submissions.

Task List Reporting FAQs

What happens if a Task List is completed outside of its scheduled time?

Task Lists submitted outside their scheduled window will be flagged in both the dashboard and the Daily Digest email, so you can easily spot delays or off-schedule activity.

Will I get a notification if a Task List is about to expire or hasn’t been completed?

No. Opus does not send notifications for missed or soon-to-expire Task Lists. This is to reduce notification fatigue and keep your alerts focused on what matters most.

Can I customize the way I view reporting data?

Yes! In the Report Builder, you can apply filters by location, Task List, time range, and more. You can also export the data as a CSV to analyze or share as needed.
