Completion Grids
Completion Grids let you track and report assignment completion across your business. They give you a quick view of where your team stands — by location or by individual — so you can follow up where it matters most.
There are two types:
Location Completion Grid — breaks down completion rates across individual locations, brands, franchises, and regions.
User Completion Grid — breaks down completion rates across each member of your team.
How to Build a Report
In the dashboard, head to Reporting in the menu on the left
From the list of reports on the left, select the Completion Grid type you want to use (Assignments by Location OR Assignments by User).
In the left-hand panel, select the Module(s) and Course(s) you want to report on. You must select at least one Module or Course and one location before the grid will populate.
You can also customize your report from the left-hand panel:
Filter by Role — view data for Trainees with a specific role only.
Thresholds — set the completion percentages that trigger green and red cell colors. Blank cells indicate unassigned content.
Completion — switch between count and percentage views.
How to Customize Your Grid View
Click on any Module or Course column to adjust your view:
Click the diagonal arrows to expand a Module and see completion rates across its Courses.
Click the up-and-down arrow to sort completion percentages in ascending or descending order.
Click and drag columns to reorder content in your grid.
📊 Drag columns into the order you want, then save your view. Opus will remember your layout every time you come back — no more rearranging.
How to Save and Export
Save a view — click Save view and give it a name. Saved views are personal and not shared with other team members.
Export a CSV — click Export CSV to download your current view to your desktop.
FAQ
Can I share a saved view with someone else?
Saved views are unique to each user and can't be shared directly. To share a report, export it as a CSV and send that file instead.
What does a blank cell mean?
A blank cell means that content hasn't been assigned to that location or team member yet.
Do I need to select a location to build a report?
Yes. You must select at least one Module or Course and one location before the grid will populate.
