Opus supports many different types of resources - however, certain file types are best for being viewed in the mobile app. The maximum file size that can be uploaded is 400 MB.

If you are uploading Articulate Rise 360 content the maximum file size is 950MB (Learn more here)

This is a list of file types that you can upload:

Documents

Recommended file type: .PDF

File types NOT supported: .pages, .doc, .docx

Note: for google docs, sheets, etc, we recommend converting to a PDF.

Images

Recommended file type: .jpeg, .gif

Other supported file types: .jpg, .png

File types NOT supported: .heic (typically iOS will automatically convert to .jpeg when shared with an iOS application)

Videos + Audio Resources

Recommended file type: .mp4, .mp3

Other supported file types: .mov, .wav, .m4a, .avi, .flv, .mkv, .webm, .wmv

Note: Audio resources will appear as a link that trainees will need to tap to open. These links will open up inside of the course, not in a separate web browser page.

Links

The other way to upload a resource is to paste a link. Note: translation features will not work on videos that are hosted through a 3rd party

Paste a link to a website, youtube video or vimeo video. Pasting a link to a google doc or sheet will require the trainee to have access.
