At Opus, we know that protecting our customer's training and employee data is critical, that's why we are pleased to announce as of April 1, 2023, Opus is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This effort was prioritized in an effort to continue supporting customers with locations and employees in the European Union.

What is GDPR compliance?

The GDPR is currently the strongest global privacy law in effect. It was created by the European Union to regulate how organizations collect, handle, and protect the personal data of EU residents. The GDPR took effect on May 25, 2018, and is a binding regulation that has been directly incorporated into Member States’ laws. It aims to strengthen privacy rights by giving data subjects control over how their personal data is obtained, used, and shared.
