What is Brand Context?
AI Assist creates content that feels authentic to your organization. By adding brand-specific context for each brand you’re training for, you ensure the modules and courses match your voice, values, and business.
When setting up Brand Context, you’ll be asked to provide a few key details:
Business type – e.g., restaurant, retailer, healthcare provider
Rules for AI Assist – tone, style, or do’s and don’ts for generated content
Founding story – background that makes your brand unique
Mission statement – what drives your team and your work
Products sold – the goods or services you want training to focus on
Once added, AI Assist will use this information to tailor the content it generates—so your training feels specific, accurate, and true to your brand.

How to Set Up Brand Context for AI Assist
To set up Brand Context in Opus:
Go to Dashboard > Settings > Brand
Choose your brand from the dropdown menu
Add Rules for AI Assist
Be as descriptive as possible about the language and tone from your brand guidelines. AI Assist will apply these rules to all generated text.
Example rules you could include:
Always refer to employees as Team Members
Always refer to customers as Guests
Always refer to locations as Shops (never “Store”)
Avoid using words like: healthy, delicious, fresh
Add Additional Brand Details
The more context you provide, the more accurate and relevant your training content will be. Consider adding:
Mission statement
Founding story
Core products or services
Use AI to Save Time
You can also click Generate with AI to have AI Assist draft these fields automatically using information available online. Then review and edit to make sure everything is accurate and in your brand’s voice.
Adding Brand Context to Your Module or Course
When using the AI Module or Course Builder, the first step is to start with your initial prompt—describe your training goal, audience, and key topics.
To make the content feel on-brand, scroll to the bottom of the Ask Opus chat on the right and select the brand you want the AI to create content for. This ensures the generated learning objectives, outlines, and activities align with your brand's tone, policies, and training style.
From there, you can continue refining by uploading brand materials (like handbooks or SOPs), editing outlines, and adjusting details so the final training feels authentic and consistent with your brand voice.
