FAQ
Who can use AI image generation?
Admins and Managers with "Create Content" permissions can generate and edit images. Ask your Admin if you don't see the option.
Do I need to republish after using AI image generation?
Yes. After you add or edit images with the AI image generator, you’ll need to republish your course or Opus Doc for the updates to appear to learners. This ensures that any new or modified visuals are saved and visible in the latest version of your content.
Can I edit any image, not just AI-generated ones?
Yes. You can edit any image in your training—stock photos, uploads, screenshots, or previously generated content.
What if I don't like the result?
Click Retry to generate a new version, or modify your prompt and try again. Generating 2–3 variations helps you find the best fit. Read our guide on best practices to learn how to write effective prompts here.
What types of images work best?
AI works best for workplace scenarios, people-focused images, or general training visuals. Highly detailed diagrams, technical close-ups, or complex branded content may need professional design tools.
Does AI learn from my images or use them for training?
No. This AI model does not train on your files or image library. Uploaded images are used only to complete your specific edit request.
If you find a prompt that consistently produces the style or results you like, consider saving it in a prompt repository for future use. When in doubt, make your prompt more specific, and also include details about what you don’t want to see.
Can I use AI-generated images in published courses?
Yes. AI-generated images work in both published courses and Opus Docs. Always review for accuracy and brand alignment before publishing.
