Fill in a Checklist, Audit, or Check-in by talking through it. Say what you see, in any order, and Opus fills in the steps as you go, so you can keep your hands free on the floor.
â Before you start: Voice completion is in the Opus Training app. The app asks for access to your microphone the first time you use it.

Fill In a Form by Talking
Voice works on any Checklist, Audit, or Check-in you're filling in.
Open the Checklist, Audit, or Check-in in the Opus Training app.
Tap the microphone in the top right corner of the form. The first time, tap Start talking.
Say what you see, in any order. For example: "Walk-in is 38, the dish area failed, there's standing water."
Tap the red stop button in the top right corner when you're done.
While Opus is listening, the form shows "Listening. Talk through the form." Steps fill in as you talk, and a short note shows each section as it's completed. Opus only listens; it doesn't talk back.
Check and Submit
Nothing is submitted until you tap Submit. Before you do:
Steps that need attention: the top of the form shows how many steps need attention, like answers Opus isn't sure about. Check each one. Steps filled in by voice are marked Filled in from what you said.
Need more info: if Opus needs more detail for a step, it asks a short question. Answer by talking or by tapping.
Photos: take any photos the form asks for.
You can change any answer by tapping, the same as always. Submitted forms show Completed with voice.
What Voice Can Fill In
Voice fills in these step types:

Multiple choice
Voice never decides a Check-in's Pass/Fail result; the evaluator still does. Text answers and notes are written in the language you speak.
Answers filled in by voice count exactly like tapped answers, so scoring, Triggers, and follow-up Tasks work the same way.
Review Voice Recordings
Your recordings are saved with the submission, with a transcript of what you said, so your Manager can review them.
In the dashboard: open a submitted Checklist, Audit, or Check-in. The Voice recordings section plays each recording and shows its transcript.
In the Opus Training app: open the submission and go to Voice recordings.
Who can listen: the team member who recorded them, and Managers and Admins who can see the submission. Recordings on a form that hasn't been submitted yet are only available to the team member who recorded them.
FAQ
Why don't I see the microphone?
Voice completion is only in the Opus Training app, while you're filling in a form. If you still don't see it, message our team through chat or email support@opus.so.
Will Opus submit the form for me?
No. Opus only fills in answers. You check them and tap Submit yourself.
Can voice add photos?
No. Take any photos the form asks for yourself. When a step asks you to do something and take a photo, Opus answers it only when you say you've done it.
Can I talk in Spanish?
Yes. Opus understands what you say, and writes text answers and notes in the language you speak.
