How to Add Your Brand Color & Logo

Learn how to add your logo and brand color in Settings > Brand, so the Opus Training app and dashboard look like your business.

Written by Ben Brunken

Training feels more like your own when it looks like your own. Add your logo and brand color once, and Opus applies them across the Opus Training app and dashboard for your whole team.

✅ Before you start: Only Admins can change Brand settings.

You can add a logo on any plan.

Custom brand color is available on Growth and Custom plans.

Table of Contents:

Add Your Logo

  1. In the dashboard, go to Settings > Brand. Settings is the gear icon at the bottom of the left navigation.

  2. Next to Logo, click Add, or Edit to replace your current logo.

  3. Choose a .png or .jpg file, crop it to a square, and click Apply.

💡 Use a square version of your logo: Opus crops every logo to a square, so a wide wordmark can get cut off.

Set Your Brand Color

Set Brand Color dialog with a hex color field and a preview
  1. In Settings > Brand, click Add or Edit next to Brand Color.

  2. Enter a 6-digit hex code that starts with #, like #4677F5.

  3. Check the Preview. White text should be clearly legible on your color.

  4. Click Save.

⚠️ Pick a color with enough contrast: Buttons and Course Breaks show white text on your brand color, so very light colors make text hard to read.

Where Your Branding Appears

  • Opus Training app: Your logo and brand color appear in the header at the top of the home screen. Your brand color is also used for buttons, answer choices, and Course Break screens.

  • Dashboard: Your logo and brand color appear in the dashboard, including when team members take training on desktop.

  • Certificates: Your logo appears on certificates of completion. Brand color isn't used on certificates.

Changes apply right away. There's nothing to republish.

Branding for Multiple Brands

If your business has more than one Brand, each Brand can have its own logo and color.

  1. Go to People > Brands.

  2. Click New Brand, or open an existing Brand and click Edit.

  3. Add a Logo and Color, then click Create or Save.

In the Opus Training app, Managers and Trainees who belong to exactly one Brand see that Brand's logo and color. Admins, and anyone who belongs to no Brand or to several, see the logo and color from Settings > Brand.

Certificates show the logo of the team member's Brand when it has one, and your business's logo otherwise.
